Most candles live on a shelf for a week, burn down to the wick, and get thrown away. The wax is gone. The scent fades. The jar gets recycled if you remember to rinse it out.

Mochimi Studios exists because we believe a candle should be worth keeping, not just burning. The object sitting on your nightstand or bookshelf or windowsill should be something you chose, something that reflects who you are, something you'd miss if it were gone.

The craft behind the word "Artisan"

Artisan candles are small-batch, handcrafted candles made with intention. From the quality of the wax and fragrance to the design of the vessel itself. Unlike mass-produced candles, every artisan candle is made by hand in limited quantities, allowing for greater care, creativity, and craftsmanship at every step. The result is a candle that's as beautiful to display as it is to burn.

Every candle we pour starts with quality soy & bees wax paired with a fragrance blend chosen for how they feel in a room, not just how they smell on a shelf. We work in small batches, which means we can actually pay attention. To the pour temperature. To the cure time. To whether this candle, this specific one, is something we'd be proud to put our name on.

But the vessel is where Mochimi Studios becomes something else entirely.

We design every vessel around a theme, crafting each one as its own piece of art. Not a jar we ordered in bulk. Not a tin we slapped a label on. A vessel that was imagined, designed, and made to hold this specific candle, in this specific collection, for someone who cares about the difference.

A studio, not a factory

We're a small studio. Our collections are limited. Our process is hands-on. And every piece we release is made by us, not outsourced, not scaled up, not rushed out the door before it's ready.
